For a coach whose value lives in the continuity of the work between sessions, that structure is the point.

Credit where it is due: Blooom is built around a clean administrative flow and pitches itself on the time it saves coaches on the running of a practice, and coaches who mainly want their booking, billing and client admin handled smoothly in one Dutch, EU-hosted place have a genuine reason to look at it. If your day is dominated by the logistics around coaching rather than the documentation of it, that focus is a real fit, and this comparison is not a hit piece against a solid product.

It is also fair to note that vendor claims about time saved are Blooom’s own marketing, not a measured Exantur result. We would rather point you at what each tool structurally does than trade in numbers neither of us can independently verify for your practice.

Both are Dutch/EU coaching platforms that keep client data in Europe and give clients a portal, intake forms and client management. Both also handle the practice essentials: Exantur has online booking with automatic session reminders, client invoicing through your own connected Stripe account and two-way Google and Outlook calendar sync, matching the booking and billing surface Blooom lists. Both also offer e-signature contracts (an add-on in Exantur) and an AI session assistant, so the feature surfaces now line up closely.

What this means in practice is that the everyday essentials are covered either way. If your shortlist has come down to these two, you are not choosing between having booking, invoicing and EU hosting or not; you are choosing which platform surrounds those essentials with the features you will lean on most, a smooth admin surface on one side, structured documentation, accountability and assessments on the other.

Choose Exantur if structured notes, native habit-tracking, between-session check-ins, a client-facing AI companion and strict EU data protection matter most, with booking, invoicing, e-sign contracts and calendar sync included. Both are EU-hosted and cover booking, billing and digital contracts; this is a question of coaching depth, not of one being universally better.

A concrete test: picture your next twenty clients a year from now. If what will matter is how quickly the admin around them runs, Blooom’s emphasis fits. If what will matter is being able to open any client and read the whole arc of the work, structured notes, tracked commitments and goal ratings over time, Exantur is built for that. Note too that Exantur’s DISC-style profile is not a certified psychometric and Exantur is not HIPAA-certified, so it is positioned for professional and workplace coaching rather than clinical use.

Because both tools are EU-hosted and coaching-native, moving is low-drama rather than a rebuild from scratch. Export your client list and history from Blooom, recreate your note structure and programs in Exantur so your standard is ready, then bring active clients across first and add paused or concluded ones at your own pace. You can run both in parallel for a couple of weeks and cut over once your live clients are settled.

Recreating your note structure up front is the step worth not skipping. Once your categories, check-in questions and program templates are set in Exantur, every migrated and new client starts from that standard, so the switch doubles as a chance to tidy how you document rather than carrying old inconsistencies across.
